Dean Edge bass. Bass started out its life as a Edge 5Q. It had a lot of dings, dents and
scratches. The headstock originally had longer horns which were chipped and dinged. The
whole bass was disassembled and brought back to life. The headstock was reshaped. All the
dents and scratches were fixed. The headstock had a minor split at the end which was repair
and is stable. There is no structural worries. The bass was then professionally refinished. The
color is a metallic blue with violet ghost flames front and back. The headstock has a violet to
blue fade. Flames look blue in the pictures but they are actually violet. EMG HZ pickups
Active electronics. Master volume, blend, with a high and low boost and cut.
Bass is currently tuned and set up for E-A-D-G-B. I went for a high B as opposed to a low B for
more higher choral playing. Bass could be restrung like a normal 5 if desired.
Bass plays and sounds great. The finish is near perfect. Bridge is brand new. Tuners are
original and show a little wear. No strap pins are seen in photos but the are on the bass now.

Rare 1 piece fiddleback Mahogany top. .125" (1/8th) thick. This is 1 of
2 tops I was able to salvage out of a 10 foot board. See other top on

S-Deluxe Limited Edition. Violet Rainbow Pearl over black. Birdseye
maple neck. Matching VRP headstock. Color changes from rainbow
to red to green, blue and everywhere in between. This is a one off
custom color. Pictures dont do this finish justice. This finish is
almost impossible to photograph.
Several "witness lines" have developed in the finish from a previous
paint job. Basically 2 parallel lines can be seen if the light hits the
body JUST right. They run diagonally across the body front a rear.
There is also 1 minor surface scratch on the back by the trem plate.
Perfect in every other way. Because of these minor flaws this guitar
is discounted. Once the light hits the body, you will be to blind to
notice them!
